I made the post in memory of the cool concert, and just to have a little activity on the site I suppose.

I was disappointed with the photo quality too, just trying to get what I could with this Windows phone, but it just ain't that great, I know. I didn't put up the video cause the sound quality was downright offensive.

For the record, there actually was some sort of message behind what i just said. I was trying to imply that human nature probably tends to shy away from news that reminds us of how little control we have over our own lives, such as the terrorist attacks. It's more comforting to talk about the death of someone who completely brought death upon herself with her insane drug use; makes us feel like we control our destiny. Which we don't. Clearly. But my point is, i don't think it's out of ignorance or selfishness, just a human self defense mechanism.

For the record, I'd think we'd avoid talking about Ke$ha's death as well. What a horror that would be. If you wanna shake up your world, step back and think about where you'd be if Tik Tok never came out. (Both the song AND music video). ...Whoa. Creepy, right? UGH let's stop talking about it, I'm getting chills.

Couldn't agree more with this post. Also, more importantly, i like that you implied that while Amy Winehouse's death was nothing compared to the horrific terrorist attacks, Ke$ha's death might be another story. Unfortunately, we can't monitor the minds of psychopaths and control devastating terrorist attacks. But we CAN control how much glitter we "throw on the floor" at sick ass parties. And that's somethin to think about.
